How Does Our Potential Decrease With Age? How Can We Improve It?

Spread the love

Here I am going to tell you how our potential decreases with age and how to improve it to some extent.

Scenario 1

Let’s say you bought a brand new car. Let’s call it car A. You really love your car. You always keep an eye on how the car is performing. You service your car at the right time. Because of this your car works longer.

Scenario 2

Let’s say you bought a brand new car. Let’s call it car B. You really don’t care about your car. You just use it for your transport purposes, refill the petrol when it is empty and does not bother about its service and repairs. Because of this car B works great for some time but starts showing its true colors.

Analysis

In the first scenario, car A will work great for a long time even after the warranty period as you take care of it well. In the second scenario, car B won’t work for a long time and even it will break down before the warranty period.

So, What do you understand from the above scenarios? If you want to make your car work longer you need to take care of it properly.

Now compare your body with a car. Like the car your body also works great in your younger age(below 30). Because it is your peak period for your body. You have your metabolism and testosterone levels at peak. Your cells’ regenerations are at peak.

But what after that? What will happen once you hit 30?

Your cells regeneration rate reduces, your metabolism and testosterone levels start decreasing. You won’t be active like you are in your younger age. You won’t be the same physically and mentally like you are in your younger age.

Is there any way you can fix this?

Yes, There is a way. Like the car A in above scenarios, if you take care of your body properly in the right time, you can increase your peak age. You can at least maintain your metabolism and testosterone levels for a longer time.

You may seen people who are above 50 years like Milind Soman who are active irrespective of their age and 20 year olds who are obese feeling difficult to even walk.

So, Overall you have to work on yourself both physically and mentally to keep yourself up for a longer time.
