Understanding Sitemap Properties

• Last Modified (lastmod): Tells search engines when the page was last updated, helping them decide if they need to re-crawl the page.
• Change Frequency (changefreq): Indicates how frequently the page content is likely to change (e.g., daily for a news homepage, yearly for an about page).
• Priority (priority): Signals the relative importance of a particular URL compared to other pages on your site, on a scale of 0.0 to 1.0 (with 1.0 being the highest).

How to use this tool

This generator provides three flexible ways to add your URLs:

1. Manual Entry: Add URLs one by one, configuring the specific properties for each individual page.
2. Bulk Import: Paste a list of raw URLs (one per line). The tool will automatically parse them and apply default properties.
3. File Upload: Upload a .csv or .xlsx file containing your URLs. The file must contain a column headed with URL.
